Our Clergy

The Very Rev’d. David A. Beaulac, Rector

“Father Dave” became Rector of St. Mary’s in January of 2013.  However, he is hardly new to St. Mary’s.  He, his wife Barbara, and their children Karen and Dan became parishioners here in 1993.  Over the years, he has been involved in many aspects of parish life, including service on the vestry and as churchwarden, chairing the calling committee after the election of then-Father Bill Love to the episcopate.  He has served as a healing prayer minister, lay Eucharistic minister and lay reader.  He has participated in many study groups, bible studies and the “men’s group,” as well as participating in and facilitating Alpha courses.  He is a Cursillista, and has attended numerous missions and healing prayer ministry conferences.  On the diocesan level, he served on the Standing Committee for six years and was a lay deputy to the 2009 TEC General Convention. He is presently the dean of the Southern Adirondack Deanery.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Speech and Audiology from the University of Connecticut and a Master’s Degree from Fairfield University in Counseling.

Receiving his call to ministry somewhat late in life, Father Dave is also a graduate of Nashotah House Theological Seminary in Nashotah, Wisconsin, and was ordained to the priesthood in 2012.  In his secular life he still serves the needs of the hearing-impaired in the area through his business, Audiocare Hearing Services in Glens Falls.
