Children

At St. Mary's we LOVE children, and we are committed to help them grow to be passionate followers of Jesus Christ!

• Sunday School

  St. Mary's Sunday School is designed for Kids from Age 5 - 5th Grade. Children attend Church with their family, leaving for Sunday School after receiving Holy Communion (approximately 10:45am). Parents are invited to enjoy coffee hour as their children complete Sunday School instruction. This year, we will explore Children's E-100 beginning with essential teachings from the Old Testament.

• Nursery

  St. Mary's provides a nursery and play area in the Parish Hall (the stage area) designated for parents and young children. It has a play mat, plenty of toys, a rocking chair and more. (There is a changing table available in the bathroom at the rear of the Church). The worship service is broadcast to a television in the children's area, so mothers and fathers can still follow along with the service. But young children are VERY WELCOME in the service. A little extra noise just adds to the fun!

• Acolytes

  Children ages 8 and up are invited to become an acolyte (altar boy/girl). Acolytes assist the priest during the Sunday service in a variety of important ways. For more information, see Mother Sue.
